Everything we develop at Chata Technologies began with the identification of a problem: the data that exists in machines is immensely valuable, but this value remains largely untapped due to unyielding barriers to access and tedious reporting procedures. We needed answers, so we started asking questions. In 2017, Chata Technologies Inc. was founded in Calgary, Canada. Our team built an innovative application that would solve the complex problem of data access and analysis by making it a completely intuitive, human-centered experience. Chata's Advisory and Performance Studios were born, empowering individuals to interface with their data through natural language and make data-driven decisions more easily and more often. The premise for users? Simply ask questions in your own words and immediately receive the answers you need. Chata's application integrates directly with several APIs including QuickBooks Online, Xero, and Stripe, and uses natural language understanding technology and dynamic query building to generate responses to real questions from real people in real time.
But it turned out that building our application was just the beginning. As we continued to build and gain traction, we realized the implications of our technology were more powerful than we initially thought. We began to get requests from other solution providers who wondered if we could offer the same powerful NLU technology and user-first conversational interface we had built, within their own platforms. And we realized we could. So we did! AutoQL is the result of our desire to extend the powerful capabilities of our underlying technology to other solution providers who are looking to add value and reduce friction in their existing systems.
